This is a beautiful mint restaurant ware china plate from SCORES Legendary Sports Restaurant, est. 1998, San Mateo, California. The plate is 6 inches diameter and is in mint condition. I'm sure it was meant as a bread plate. The back states Oneida 9611A. Above the Oneida name it is a word that is smudged and I'm not positive of what it was meant to state. This little plate is perfect. A white body with a red stripe around the rim and the Scores logo of helmets, balls and bats to represent Baseball, Football, Hockey, Basketball and Golf. It's a super cute plate and would make a fun Father's Day gift.
NOTE: Restaurant ware, oftentimes called hotel ware is vitrified, ceramic tableware which exhibits high mechanical strength and is produced for use in hotels and restaurants. Tableware used in railway dining cars, passenger ships and airlines are also included in this category. Since restaurant ware is subject to heavy use, it is made to resist chipping and cracking.
