Eiichi Shibuya also known as Shibuya Eiichi color etching on paper, signed in pencil, matted and framed. The frame is 8.75 inches x 11 inches and the etching is 4.25 inches x 6 inches. The subject matter is a little up to interpretation. To me, it looks like a man or a saint riding a donkey. However, it could be a horse, it could be a woman with a hat or the sun behind her head. The print is signed in pencil. On the far left it is signed EP. On the far right is his signature Eiichi Shubuya. The center writing in pencil is not apparent to me. Perhaps someone familiar with his art and or Japanese could explain it. The etching is ready for hanging. The back of it has a gallery label where his work probably was shown at one time. It states Kanda's Gallery B.O.Q. in Tokyo. The artist has shown his work in galleries and museums around the world. His was born in 1928. It is in excellent condition.
