There is an inscription opposite the title page (see photo). Small chips on the outside top and bottom spine and corners. The end papers are in excellent condition as is book. No writing, no odors, no bent pages. There are so many full-color illustrations that are still bold and bright as well as several black and white pictures. The many tales include Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, The Foolish Milkmaid, The Gingerbread Boy. The Three Billy Goats Gruff and many more. The contents are illustrated, see photos.
