Poker by Oswald Jacoby 1943
Oswald Jacoby on POKER with a foreword by Grandland Rice and an introduction by William E. McKenney. Doubleday, Doran & Co., copyright 1940, 1943 edition. Poker is one of the oldest and most popular of all American card games. This book is informative and authoritive but also very interesting. Contents include how to conduct a poker game, how to play stud, draw and various other games, a glossary and the laws of poker, 155 pages. The book is in very clean and tight condition. No dust jacket and the pages are somewhat tanned from age. However, there are no stains, no tears, no folds and no odors. Someone wrote their name on the inside front cover (price is adjusted for this).
