This is a old tin of Wilkin's Red Boy Toffee candy and is filled with old buttons, some strait pins and even a couple of cards with brand new buttons that date at least 20 years or so; marked at 15 cents. The box has some scratches but no dents. It measures 6" diameter and stands 1 3/4" tall. Many of these collectible old tins remain because they were often used as sewing boxes, holding sewing notions, buttons, collectibles, etc. Note: This is a red tin with the Master Lambton Red Boy painting (After Sir Thomas Lawrence RRA) on the lid. The stated information is on the gold ribbon under the painting. This is like two items for the price of one! The buttons may be used for art and crafts and the tin has tons of uses for storage, etc..
