More from Kitchengarden & Purses
These two pieces are apparently from a set of three. I thought these would be great for a craft or sewing project because of the unusual motif of an embroidered man in sombrero & serape mending or making baskets in a field of daisy-like flowers. They are very colorful with the crochet edges yellow, spice, green and cream colored against an off white linen background. The arm chair piece has two pin holes in it (see photo) while the one for a sofa is in perfect condition. The armchair piece is 9 1/2" x 6 1/2", the sofa textile is 10 1/2" x 7". They are nice enough to be framed. Note the armchair piece is the man working on two baskets while the sofa piece has him attending four baskets.
