This vintage glass vase probably dates to the 1940s and can also be used as an candy dish. Use it for flowers, fill with Christmas ornaments or candy, to serve radishes, pile with whipped cream and serve with ice-cream sundaes.... it is so versatile. I love the design. The eight sided glass bowl portion is so architectural and the rim with it's swirling ridges; just love it. The pedestal portion is green and some of the green is fading (see photos). It has a very mid-century feel to it. The dish measures 5.5 inches tall, the open bowl is 4.5 inches diameter and the bottom pedestal is 3.5 inches diameter. I would guess it is from the thirties or forties.
Picture it filled with jelly beans or gum balls; FUN
