This is a Rosenthal advertising ashtray for Asbach-Uralt. It is 6 1/4 inch x 5 1/2 inch in perfect condition. Ivory china with gold gilt scalloped rim. In gold it states Asbach-Uralt 1st Der Geist Des Weines. The back is marked Thomas R Marktredwitz, Germany 38 24. It is a very special piece and you'd find it difficult to find another in this excellent condition; no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs.
The second ashtray is white porcelain with red Paoli's and red crest, three cigarette rests in gold gilt and it measures 5 inch diameter. It is also in perfect condition. Paoli's was a famous restaurant in San Francisco, California. Both are for one great price.
