This is a signed, stated first edition The Fisherman's Wharf Cook Book by Morrison Wood, 244 pages, published by Brown and Nourse. It's a collection of recipes from San Francisco, California's famous Fisherman's Wharf. This book is difficult to find, particularly with it's dust jacket.
Morrison Wood wrote a humorous cooking column during the 1940's and 1950's titled For Men Only syndicated by The Chicago Daily Tribune.
The book is in excellent condition; the boards are bright turquoise cloth. The binding is tight, the pages are clean and bright without any flaws. The dust jacket is a little chipped and worn but I have it wrapped in mylar for protection. It is not price clipped. Many of these recipes are from world-famous restaurants located at Fisherman's Wharf, many of which are still in business today.
