A lovely vintage circa 1923 heavy silver plated 2 pint tureen with lid and under plate from a St. Louis–San Francisco Railway (aka Frisco System) dining car! In excellent condition for its age, no dents or damage, just very small signs of use and age. Very minor tarnish, the tureen is very clean on the outside with some spots of discoloration/wear on the inside. The under plate has a bit of wear to the silverplating where the base of the tureen sits. The tureen and under plate are both marked as made by Gorham in 1923 with the Frisco system mark.

Measures 8.5 inches in length including handles by 7 inches deep by 6.5 inches to the top of the finial.
