A beautiful and rare antique circa 1870-80s, heavy silver plated champagne bucket made by Tiffany & Co in the style of a wooden bucket/barrel with beautiful figural lion handles and an Armorial engraving on the front. In excellent condition for a piece that's over 100+ years old, no large dents or damage. Some surface scratches and very small marks/bumps. Some water marks and discoloration inside. The fitted top ring does have one small bump, but still fits beautifully. The interior cylinder, designed to keep the melting ice water off the bottle, so it never drips, means despite the size of this bucket it will only accommodate standard champagne and wine bottles, not large magnum size bottles. The inner cylinder could be removed by a professional very easily if you wanted this piece to accommodate larger bottles.
9” tall by 7.75” wide, this heavy bucket weighs nearly 6 pounds empty.
