This miniature Kutani Vase is from Kaga Province. It is is very fine and thinly potted. It is beautifully painted in red, peach and grey, with gold detail and measures 3.5 inches in height. It is very thinly potted and expertly painted. There is a beautiful phoenix in gold on red detail of the vase. The front and back shaped panels depict a bird among the peonies and a family among flower. At the top of the red sides, there is a floral bouquet of peonies with 2 beautifully pink and grey painted birds. It is such amazing detail for a very small vase.
