AMPHORA Pottery Reissner Kessel Large Cachet Pot & 2 Vases Turn Teplitz
This beautiful Art Nouveau set features a multi organic textured surface with a lovely floral design of golden yellow roses with thorny stems and leaves with fine details of the veins. Hues of purple and gold highlight the floral arrangement. All is outlined in fine black detail. Each piece has 4 handles, the larger has horizontal top curving towards the bottom with a support piece inside, all in excellent antique condition. The inside of the smaller vases have beige glazing, with natural crazing. Marked with the Reissner & Kessel mark.
The pieces are marked on the bottom with an impressed crown and an oval that says AUSTRIA as well as a stamped design number, the marks typically found on the Amphora factory products. This is an impressive antique set that dates between 1890 and 1910, and is very collectible.
The Bohemia region of Austria is renowned for the wonderful pottery created at the turn of the last century by names like Paul Dachsel, Ernst Wahliss and Julius Dressler, Austria where some of the worlds greatest art was created.

2 accompanying vases 7" tall, by 4 3/4" wide handle to handle, 1lbs. on one
and 1.2 lbs on the other, take into mind that each piece is uniquely handcrafted.
