Exquisite early 19th century engraved and enameled cordial set.
The set is comprised of a ground stopper decanter, and six matching cordial cups. The engraving on this piece an extraordinary very even filigree pattern over the body of the glass surface, and a intricate Rose shaped pattern in the central Cartouche. The glasses have a coordinating filigree engraved pattern along with similar enamel and gold accents.
The enamel consist of small tiny roses, forget-me-nots, and other dainty spring foliage.
The set measurements are as follows the decanter measures 8.5 in tall by approximately 4 in wide the glasses measure 2 in high by one and three quarter inches across along the top rim of the lip
Overall condition of this piece is phenomenal considering the age, please see photos, one glass has a very very tiny flea bite, as well as the top lip of a decanter has one small flea bite as well. I am also happy to take additional photos if you need any visual clarification.
