This rounded triangular shaped vase contains a floral and leaf motif. The orange-yellow and brown hues are classic autumn tones. The lighter tone complements the darker colors of the brown glass. The detail on the flowers is enchanting. The folds of every petal reveal nature’s beauty. Large leaves also adorn the vase. Like the sun, the top portion of the piece flairs out in an even circle. This piece is a beautiful close up of a garden scene in extraordinary, yet natural tones. This would make a fine object for any glass collector, especially a collector of Galle. Emile Galle was the foremost French cameo glass artist during the Art Nouveau period. This piece probably dates to c. 1920.
