This porcelain salt and pepper shaker is of the famous 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy. The Camelot president sits with hands on his lap in a rocking chair that is marked, "JFK." The details of the piece are quite remarkable. The young-faced leader relaxes with sport coat off, but still in dress shirt and tie. Perhaps he is resting to ease his notoriously bad back. One can even make out his blue eyes. The piece was imported by Arrow in New York from Japan c. 1962. A must-have item for any collector of presidential memorabilia.
