This rare Royal Haeger plate dates to c. 1950. Its design is truly ahead of its time. An ocean blue spiral emanates outward from the center of the dish, with white lines separating each layer of the spiral. They seem almost like wakes in the deep blue sea. This blue and white eventually give way to the royal purple that climbs up the side of the dish to the border of the plate. On the bottom of the dish are four miniature legs that allow the plate to stand straight on a table. Here also lie the markings that identify its affiliation with the famous Haeger factory. A stunning and one of a kind piece for the Haeger or American pottery collector.
