This c. 1900 porcelain painting is done in the style of KPM and is of German origin. The infamous, pale-skinned queen faces forward in a magenta and white dress and elegant feathered hat. The painting is done on porcelain, which in turn is set in a removable bronze frame. This frame is made of laurels. It also has legs so it can rest on your desk instead of merely hanging on a wall. It is artist signed on the painting itself and signed Marie Antoinette on the rear of the porcelain. A must-have piece for any collector of the last queen before the French Revolution.
