This classic example of English creamware dates to the 18th C. It has the famous King's Rose pattern. A large rose with yellow flowers next to it sits on the right hand side of the piece. Similar yellow and red flowers extend down the opposite portion. The greens of these plants continue in the border, along with the red of the rose. The dish is in excellent condition with the usual and expected potting, glazing, and firing flaws. There are no cracks or chips and the piece has never been repaired. It is also unmarked as usual. This would make a great gift for any collector of English ceramics.
