This animal-shaped bank dates to around 1920. Made from steel, the bank has been gilted. The coloring is fading, showing signs of its age, though this does not take away from the craftsmanship of the piece. There is a screw in the center which is loosened to open the bank. Along the backbone is a slot for inserting coins. The horse is standing on three legs, with one leg raised, as if it were pawing the ground beneath. A wonderful treasure for holding your coins or the newest piece to your horse collection.
