A small traveling inkwell made to look like a hat box, made in the late 1920's. These inkwells were commonly produced to resemble common items specific to a job or profession, this one being shaped like a hat box, for a haberdasher or retailer of men's clothing and accessories. The lid opens when a small, concealed button on the front of the box is pressed, and pressing another latch within that compartment reveals the inkwell itself. The inkwell is sealed when the interior lid is closed, preventing any spillage. Item is in perfect working order, shipping costs to be determined upon location.
