This charming cup and saucer date to c. 1770. The pattern is the famous King's Rose. The bright orange rose is surrounded by yellow fuzzballs and bright green leaves on both the cup and saucer, though in slightly different patterns. The inside of the saucer has a pink geometrical border, while the cup has a border of repeated roses along two parallel orange lines. The idyllic design is a wonderful reminder of a bygone era in porcelain.
