Rare two tone Van Briggle pot, sometimes listed as jardiniere vase.
The body is maroon and the raised leaf pattern (no stem) around the shoulder is accented with dark blue-green. Mulberry glaze, estimated to be from 1920s or 30s.
Typical shellacked base with symbol and name/city in caps: VAN BRIGGLE COLO. SPGS.
No chips, cracks, crazing, or glaze pops. A couple tiny penciling marks if held up to the light and a few spots of slightly darker glaze, likely from manufacturing/firing.
