Vintage Alfredo Barbini Murano Gold Flecks Italian Art Glass Kitty Cat Sculpture Figure
This kitty is sure sitting pretty. With her quizzical face and the gold flecking throughout the body she is the perfect size to sit and be a paperweight or just to enhance your decor. Measuring 5 1/2" tall (to the tip of the ear) and 5 1/2" at the base. Weighing two pounds. No hallmark as the paper tag is long gone, but follows many of the examples of the work of Alfredo Barbini along this line. No chips or cracks. Circa 1960's.

Alfredo Barbini, a glass artist born in 1912 on the islands of Murano in the lagoon of Venice, Italy, was one of Murano's leading figures of the twentieth century.
