This tome was part of Gross & Dunlap's Illustrated Junior Library series. It's a 1979 printing of a 1946 edition featuring the original illustrations by Earl Goodenow, which are fabulous. 327 pages long, this book is chockfull of charming black-and-white and lovely full-page color artworks depicting the 14 legendary tales therein, including "Scheherazade," "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves," "Sinbad the Sailor," and "Aladdin, or the Wonderful Lamp."
In excellent, clean, and well-bound condition, this book is covered with a clear-plastic dust jacket. The only "fault" lies in the fact that a previous owner had signed her name on the title page and left a smudge as well. Please see third photo.
