For sale here is a fine pair of vintage 1950s handmade mixed metals 950 silver gold overlay and black lacquer Pagoda Mount Fuji design cufflinks from Japan. Each of these cufflinks is a miniature work of art and entirely handmade! The 950 silver cufflinks were coated with black lacquer at front which was then cut-thru to create the silver outlines and gold overlay was applied for color contrast. Measure 3/4" by 1/2", and the pair weigh 7.3 grams total. Marked "Sterling / 950", 950 silver was pretty much standard in Japan at the time, which is a higher standard than US 925 sterling silver.
