For sale here is a One of a Kind vintage 1960s 70s handmade sterling turquoise & carved antler Hippie Native modernist ring. Entirely handmade and likely a native or Hippie modernist artisan from the 1960s/70s era. so unique and no doubt a one of a kind, unlike anything that I have seen before in my 45+ year career! A gorgeous genuine untreated turquoise cabochon at center set in a sterling setting and placed into a slice of an antler from a deer no doubt (not a protected species) that has been formed into a ring. The sterling setting looks like it might have originally been of Asian origin, and was adapted by the maker of this ring to feature in his/her design. Measures 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" at top and rises 3/4" above the finger, about a size 10 US, and weighs 17.1 grams total. Unmarked, unsurprisingly, as this was no doubt a one of a kind object meant as a gift for a loved-one or a special customer. There is one section that looks like it was shaved shorter than the others at top, but since the entire ring has been clear-coated by the maker and the clear-coating is intact in that area, this is original to the design, not damage. Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.
