For sale here is a BIG and striking vintage 1950s signed handmade sterling silver Mexican modernist pre-Columbian figure design brooch from Taxco. Very stylized design with a geometric rendering of a pre-Columbian inspired design! Measures 2-1/8" by 2-1/8" and weighs a hefty 20.4 grams total. Marked at back as shown with the maker mark conjoined large C with smaller V inside, also marked "925 Sterling Hecho en Mexico" and older version of the Eagle 1. Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear and some spots of tarnish as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase.
