For sale here is a SUPERB vintage 1970s handmade sterling silver and gilt sterling modernist pendant on torque necklace designed by K. E. Palmberg for the Alton workshop in Falkoping, Sweden. An outstanding modernist design with superlative craftsmanship! The pendant measures 2-3/8" by 2-1/4", and the torque fits up to a 16" neck. Marked as shown on the torque, "Alton", date letter Z9 for 1974, and "Sterling 925", while the gold plated sterling pendant is marked "K. E. Palmberg". In addition to being fully marked, I have also tested this necklace for metal content, and guarantee it to be as described.
