For sale here is a STRIKING vintage 1960s handmade copper enamel modernist modernist Sunburst/Sunspots design tray by Bovano of Cheshire Connecticutt. The sunburst design is a well-known Bovano design, but this one has added teal blue 'spots' on the design that remind me of sunspots! Measures 4" by 4" by 5/8" at raised corners, and weighs 95.6 grams total before packaging. These Bovano trays usually have their paper labels on the bottom, but many (like this one) had them removed by their owners. However, there is absolutely no doubt that this is by Bovano as it's a well-known and documented design, and the execution is unmistakably by Bovano.
