For sale here is a RARE vintage 1950s 60s handmade copper enamel modernist Figures design tray by Bovano of Cheshire Connecticutt. A striking modernist design! Measures 4" by 4" by 5/8" high at raised corners, and weighs 99.7 grams total before packaging. These Bovano trays usually have their paper labels on the bottom, but many (like this one) had them removed by their owners. However, there is absolutely no doubt that this is by Bovano as it's a well-known and documented design, and the execution is unmistakably by Bovano. Excellent vintage condition with just the fine light wear, no chips at edges but a touch of crazing in one spot that doesn't break the surface, and with no loss of enamel as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase.
