For sale here is a RARE set of 6 vintage 1950s handmade sterling silver Mexican modernist ice tea straws/spoons designed by Miguel Garcia Martinez for Rancho Alegre in Taxco. A rare and exceptional design by one of the premier mid century modernist designers in Taxco Mexico! Each measures about 8" by 1" wide (at the bowl), and the set weighs a substantial 53.3 grams total. Each is fully marked as shown, "Miguel Rancho Alegre Sterling 925 Taxco" and design number "1154". Comes in the original retailer fabric protective pouch from the May Company which was a seller of fine merchandise in California, but isn't in business anymore. Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear and tarnish as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase.
