For sale here is a SUPERB vintage 1940s Art Deco Moderne to Modernist handmade 940 silver cocktail/drink stirer designed by Hector Aguilar for his Taller Borda store in Taxco. Probably one of his greatest designs in silver flatware and of the very highest quality and execution! Measures 10" long by 1-1/2" wide at the bowl, and weighs a substantial 133.5 grams or 4.3 troy ounces! Fully marked at back as shown with the Taller Borda mark, the Eagle 9 mark, also the conjoined HA maker mark for Aguilar, and "940 Taxco". Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase.
