For sale here is a HUGE pair of vintage 1950s 60s handmade 970 silver Mexican modernist Female figure/dancer design dangling screw earrings by the maestro of modern Antonio Pineda of Taxco. Bold cut-out design derived from ancient cave drawings and pre-Hispanic decorative motif with a modernist twist! Large size 970 silver (higher quality than sterling) screwback earrings with pierced pictograph design. Each measures 2-3/4" long by 1-1/8" wide. Marked as shown in my photos, the Antonio 'crown' mark, and also marked "970 Silver" as well as Eagle stamp #17. Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase.
