For sale here is a RARE vintage 1960s handmade sterling silver and ceramic abstract modernist ring by the firms of Anton Michelsen and Royal Copenhagen of Denmark from their "Royal Bini" line of jewelry of the late 1960s. A complex and striking modernist design that will stand out on the hand Here's a short blurb about the Royal Bini line that I compiled from sources online:
The Royal Bini line was a collaborative collection of ceramic and sterling silver jewelry produced by Royal Copenhagen and the Anton Michelsen workshop and sold exclusively through the Georg Jensen shop in Copenhagen in the late 1960’s after all three enterprises became part of the same company. The Royal Bini was a new jewelry idea created by The Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory ceramists Doreen Middelboe, Bodil Buch, Nils Thorsson and goldsmith Jen Windfeld-Hansen in cooperation with A. MIchelsen's workshops circa 1968, was only produced for a few years, and in very limited numbers.
A complex and striking modernist design that will stand out on the hand! Measures just under 1" by 1" at top, ring size 7 to 7.5 US, and weighs 9.8 grams total. Fully marked as shown with Royal Copenhagen marks on the bottom of the ceramic section, and with Anton Michelsen marks on the silver ring band. Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear and tarnish to the metal as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.
