For sale here is a RARE vintage 1960s 70s handmade copper enamel modernist Middle Eastern Townscape design original painting artwork by Israeli artist/enamelist Agi Vardi of Kibbutz Giv'at Haim. Vardi is both a painter and a teacher who works in enamel, batik, and collage. He was born in Hungary, and studied at the Beaux Arts in Paris, before moving to Israel where he became a member of the Giv'at Haim artist colony.
This artwork is copper enamel at center raised slightly above a dark brown velvet over board background, and is still in it's original dark-bronze colored aluminum frame. Measures 12-3/4" by 12-3/4" by 1" tall at edge of frame, and the enamel section at center measures 9-7/8" diameter. Signed on board at back as shown. No damage to the enamel at all. Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear to outer edges of the frame - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.
