For sale here is a HUGE vintage 1960s 70s handmade mixed metals silver copper and brass with stone inlay modernist necklace from Mexico. In the style of Los Castillo, this example was probably made by one of their silversmiths moonlighting on his own, and packs all the pow of the original but at a much more affordable price. The pendant at front center measures 3-3/4" long by 2" wide, and is suspended from two halves of a torque-style necklace that will fit about 14" to 14-1/2" neck. The entire necklace weighs a hefty 68.6 grams total.
Marked "Metales Casados" on the lower part of the pendant, also "Alpaca Hecho en Mexico" on the upper half. The two piece torque-style necklace and box clasp are unmarked but tested and guaranteed sterling silver. The stone inlay is azurmalachite. Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear and some tarnish to the metal in spots as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.
