For sale here is a BIG and RARE vintage 1950s handmade copper enamel abstract biomorphic modernist design link bracelet by Pennsylvania artist George Faddis (1920-1985). His work is rare and hard to find, especially his jewelry, and this is an exceptional example!! There's a brief biography of Faddis in Marbeth Schon's Wearable Art Movement Part II on the Modern Silver website in the archive section. He taught at the Butler Institute, and participated in the 3rd Annual Walker Art Center Exhibition of Contemporary Jewelry in 1955 alongside Margaret de Patta and others of note. This bracelet measures 7" long by 1-1/4" widest, and weighs 26.8 grams total. Excellent vintage condition with just minor edge wear in a couple spots as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.
