For sale here is a wonderful vintage late 1940s to 1950s signed handmade sterling silver and carved malachite pre-Columbian revival Aztec Face design brooch pin pendant from Taxco Mexico. Lots of movement when worn with freely swinging 'earrings' and dangles at bottom. Altogether a big and bold brooch with loads of character! Measures 3-1/2" long by 1-1/2" widest, and weighs a super hefty 55.8 grams total. Marked at back as shown with maker mark "MCE" which Hougart identifies as a Taxco maker, also "925 Hecho en Mexico Sterling" and Eagle 3. Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear and some tarnish mostly at back - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.
