Condition:
This Stereo-Optic card set is in excellent used condition, showing curvature in their forms as they were manufactured in this way. The photographic images are clear and vibrant. The storage box itself shows wear to its outer faux book binding motif. The box is still solid and functions well. All wear commensurate with age. Please see photos for details.

Detailed Description:
This unique and complete set of stereographic viewing cards contained in their original faux book binding storage box is a wonderful example of early photographic imagery. It is a wonderful series of photographic images depicting people, locations, buildings, and events around the world, with information printed text on the verso of each card. Starting with card number T-201 showing “A Treacherous Crevasse in Victoria Glacier, Mt. Lefroy and Mt. Victoria in Distance, Canadian Rockies, Canada”. And ending with card number T-300 showing “Quaint Cottages in Shanklin, Isle of Wight, England”.
The box covered in pebbled leather or leatherette spine with gilt titling, raised bands and cloth covering is in good stable condition, showing some wear to the leather spine and cloth edges. The set will function and display well whenever you may choose to use or view the set of images.
