This Antique Cloisonné Vase, from the 19th Century Japanese Meiji period.
With its panels of Floral and Butterfly motif’s, is a wonderful example of fine craftsmanship and classic design. Using the most spectacular colors of deep blue, medium blue, lite blue, iron red, black, deep green, lite green, lite yellow, medium brown, in addition to panels of metallic or foil backed areas, using transparent shades of blue throughout its surface and therefore creating a truly stunning effect. Its interior body is enameled in a deep green color.
This beautiful Japanese Cloisonné Vase will attract the attention it deserves wherever it is displayed.
