This large Bisque Porcelain Plaque made by Bing and Grondahl Porcelain Company, is a wonderful example of neoclassical design. With its relief figures of a man, woman, child and dog, representing one of the four seasons of life, as Manhood-Autumn, from the series of mould designs from the works of the artist Bertel Throvaldsen’s seasons of life series.
It will function and display well, wherever you may choose to use it.
The small chips in one area of the rim, could easily be covered from view if the plaque was placed in a frame.
