Original watercolor painting by listed Cincinnati, Ohio, artist Margaret S. Tinne. Tinne is a listed American artist in Who Was Who in American Art. This work is signed by the artist in the lower right corner and titled on the back “James’s Horse.” There is also a note on the back that the painting was done in Horscave, Kentucky (Horse Cave, KY?). The sight area of the painting measures 13 ¼ by 9 ¼ inches (visible area of the painting). Offered unframed. The work appears to be in very good condition with no noted problems. Judging from the materials, this works appears to date around 1920 give or take a few years. This is a great looking little painting with lots of charm. Nice bright colors throughout. An excellent addition to a Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky regional art collection. You will not be disappointed. Again, this painting will be shipped unframed. The notation on the back of the frame that you see in the photos will be included. It has been carefully removed from the backing and placed into a protective sleeve.
