This item is a period early art deco / art nouveau print from a larger early 20th century folio/serial publication, most being German or French in origin. These prints, the majority being close to 100 years old give or take, were acquired from a large reference collection that belonged to a decorating and architecture firm that went out of business in the Midwest during the 1920s. The printing quality is simply superb. An excellent addition to an art deco or art nouveau graphic collection.
These prints were produced to serve as modern (for the period) design examples for wallpaper, murals, friezes, furniture, pottery, art, drapery, books and decorative arts in general. These designs were created by many prominent artists of the period.
NOTE: The condition of these prints varies as they were stored in boxes for the last 80 plus years. Most have minor soiling or yellowing around the edges and in some cases may have minor chips or tears from wear. In most cases any visual imperfections are easily concealed with proper matting. Please note the condition description and examine the photo closely prior to purchase. Item will ship in a #5 poly bubble mailer (10.5 x 16 inches) with cardboard protectors. Ships via FEDEX ground with tracking unless other arrangements are agreed to in advance.
