I believe Coddington to have been faculty at Ohio State University. This is a very appealing photograph measuring 6.5 x 9 inches, mounted on cardboard and matted. The mat has hand drawn lines framing the window and is signed in pencil lower right with artist’s signature. The overall measurement is 15 x 12 including the mat. Unframed as found. Photograph is in very good condition. The mat is slightly toned due to age and has remnants of tape residue in the upper right corner. This work could easily be double matted for display. A lovely atmospheric example of mid 20th century American Pictorialism / pictorialist photography.
