Offering this delightful original oil painting by UK Cumbria artist Marion Bradley. Housed in a period frame measuring 7 x 5 inches, outer dimensions 10 x 8 inches, approximately. Signed in the lower left in the artist's hand. Ambleside & District Art Society label present on the verso providing the title of the work, name of the artist and address. Very good condition, ready to display. This is a great little painting that is a real treat to see in person.

arion Bradley was born in Lancashire in 1946. She worked in textile design for six years before moving to Ambleside in 1969. She began landscape painting in oils, followed by detailed studies of flowers and fungi in gouache, then acrylics. She "likes to paint flowers in landscape from a sort of rabbit's eye view, so to speak".
Marion is also an honourary member of Lancashire Art Society, and is currently president of the Ambleside Art Society. She has exhibited regularly, with numerous 'one woman' shows.
Marion Bradley's work is in many private collections, both in the UK and abroad.
