KR MOLD 126, 72 cm, exceptional size, the brown glass eyes , opened mouth, teeth and tongue, dimple at chin, baby with sitting body, one finger broken , original body with old colourful, as it is pictured.
Marked back head incised KAMMER REINHARD 126 GERMANY 72 (biggest possible head size with enormous head circumference)

The Kämmer &Reinhardt antique doll factory manufactured in Waltershausen, Germany, and from 1886 to 1909 made only dolly-face dolls. Was one of the leading doll factories of its time. This company was undoubtedly influenced by Marion B. Kaulitz, the instigator of the 1908 puppen reform. KR company caused quite a stir when it introduced its KR character dolls on bent-limb body at the 1909 MUNICH exhibit. The development of character dolls, which were modelled after real children, was an innovative progression of the Germany doll industry.
