KR MOLD 126, 62 cm, exceptional size, the brown glass eyes were afterwards fix inset, opened mouth, teeth and tongue, dimple at chin, baby with sitting body, complete painted over, with mama-papas`s crying voice, old white cotton clothes chritianing gown , underwear and matchinh hat. Baby doll has his antique victorian SILVER rattle and wooden cradle

The Kämmer &Reinhardt antique doll factory manufactured in Waltershausen, Germany, and from 1886 to 1909 made only dolly-face dolls. Was one of the leading doll factories of its time. This company was undoubtedly influenced by Marion B. Kaulitz, the instigator of the 1908 puppen reform. KR company caused quite a stir when it introduced its KR character dolls on bent-limb body at the 1909 MUNICH exhibit. The development of character dolls, which were modelled after real children, was an innovative progression of the Germany doll industry.
BODY: PERFECT antique composition and wooden GERMAN ball-jointed child body with no damage or repair. Hands with perfect fingers all in good condition. Cutest biggest posible size by Kammer and Reinhardt, from their character series, circa 1910. fine larger size allowing beautiful expression of wistful faces with deeply-defined facial planes, original wig, original bodies and body finish.
