One of the new acquisitions of antique hunting in France.

A great antique & bronze paperclip in the shape of a goat. In the Middle Ages, goats were sometimes associated with witches and devils. The devil was often depicted with a goat's leg. The reason for this could be that goats give off a bad smell and have a high sex drive. The restless nature of the goat could also be the basis for this misconception. So what was the true meaning of this paperclip? Is it just the animal pictured or has it a deeper meaning?
Item is made from bronze and produced in France. I bought it in Paris. No marking, still in very good condition. Pressure from the clip itself is in order. Can be placed on you’re desk or hanging on a wall.

Measurements:

Lenght: 4.33 inch = 11,5 cm
Wide: 1.57 inch = 4,4 cm
High: 1.97 inch = 5 cm
