Item Description: Stunning Pair of Japanese Lacquerware Stands with Covered Trays on curled legs. Roiro-nuri (black) lacquer and gold hiramaki-e, beautifully detailed sculptural trees with cranes and turtles. Small inlay of gold in the trunk of the trees. Not entirely certain if the stands are original to the boxes.

Approx. Measurements: each with stand is 14” square x 12.75” height

Condition: Some dulling and scratches to finish, some hairlines to lacquer, checking / fractures to wood.
